By order #4, that shift is on a bigger client's job; yours runs on shift-B or C with less experience. The factory's own cotton / plastic / metal supplier raised prices, or a cheaper alternative knocked on the door. Switching saves 4–8% per unit — and visually almost nobody notices on order #2. A common factory tactic: the 3rd or 4th order is deliberately a quiet downgrade — thinner gauge, lighter packaging insert, omitted accessory. If the buyer does not flag it within 30 days, that downgrade becomes the new normal. If the buyer flags it, the factory apologises and "fixes" the next batch. Most "stopped replying" cases come from buyer-supplier setups with no local presence. We are physically located in Siem Reap; you can walk into the office on Rose Apple Square, 4F. A relationship you can knock on the door of is harder to ghost. "做完不理"绝大多数发生在无本地存在的对接关系里。我们的实体办公室在暹粒罗斯苹果广场 4 楼,您可以走进来。一个能上门敲门的合作关系,比较难被"已读不回"。

How do I know you won't just side with the factory when there's a dispute? 出问题时,我怎么知道你们不会偏向工厂?

Our business model is the answer: we are paid by you, not by the factory. The factory is our supplier; you are our client. A factory that ships substandard goods costs us more than it costs them — we lose the buyer relationship. The incentive structure points one direction. 商业模式本身就是回答:钱是您付的,不是工厂付的。工厂是我们的供应商;您是我们的客户。工厂出次品,我们损失比工厂大——我们丢的是客户关系。激励方向是清楚的。

What if the second batch is still wrong after you "push the supplier"? 如果你们"推动工厂"之后,第二批还是有问题怎么办?

Three escalations, in order: (1) we switch the line / shift / batch within the same factory; (2) if that fails, we re-source from an alternate factory in our pool (most categories have 2–4); (3) for proven defects, we negotiate partial refund or credit applied to your next order. We share the escalation log with you in writing. 三档处理,按顺序:(1) 在工厂内换产线/班组/批次;(2) 不行就换我们备用池里的同品类工厂(大部分品类有 2~4 家备选);(3) 对确认的缺陷,协商部分退款或抵扣到下一单。处理日志会以书面形式同步给您。

Yes, any SKU. We coordinate with SGS / BV / Intertek / TÜV depending on product and destination. Cost passed through at the lab's invoice. Common: AZO, formaldehyde, lead/cadmium, phthalates, flammability, food-contact migration. 可以,任何 SKU 都行。按品类和目的地对接 SGS / BV / Intertek / TÜV,费用按实验室发票转付。常见:AZO 偶氮染料、甲醛、铅/镉、邻苯二甲酸酯、阻燃、食品接触迁移。
If reorder quality drops, who has to prove the change — me or you?如果复购质量变差,举证是您还是我?
We do. You only need to flag it (photo of the issue is enough). We then retrieve the sealed master sample, the spec record for that SKU, and the pre-ship batch photos from our archive, and present them side by side with your photo. What if the sealed master sample is damaged or fades?封存样品损坏或褪色怎么办?
Ageing-sensitive SKUs (textiles, dyed items) re-photographed against a colour card every 12 months — time-stamped record holds even if the physical sample dulls. Wear-prone categories (rubber, foam, soft plastics) get two units sealed: an untouched reference + a working unit for comparison. 易老化 SKU(纺织品、染色品)每 12 个月对色卡重新拍照存档,时间戳记录在实物褪色后依然有效。易磨损品类(橡胶、海绵、软塑)封存两件:一件"参考件"永不开封,一件"工作件"用于比对。
What if our factory goes bankrupt or stops responding?工厂破产或失联了怎么办?
Most categories carry a backup pool of 2–4 factories per SKU. Your locked 7-field spec + photos + sealed sample transfer cleanly; first reorder from the new factory always carries a mid-production check + pre-ship sample. Typical one-time delay: 5–10 days. 大部分品类每个 SKU 备 2~4 家工厂。锁定的 7 项字段 + 实拍 + 封存样可以平移到备用工厂;新工厂第一次复购必加生产中抽检 + 发货前样确认。一次性延后约 5~10 天。
Is any of this in writing, or just WhatsApp goodwill?这些机制有书面合同吗?
Orders ≥ USD 5,000: written sourcing agreement — payment milestones, 7-field spec lock, master-sample sealing, batch-check obligations, after-sales window, dispute escalation. Below USD 5,000: same terms via PI + email. WhatsApp = daily comms, never the contract layer. 订单 ≥ USD 5,000 出书面采购协议——付款节点、7 项规格锁定、首单样品封存、批次检查义务、售后响应窗口、争议升级。USD 5,000 以下走 PI + 邮件同等条款。WhatsApp 只做日常沟通,不当合同层。
