"China factory to Siem Reap hotel" looks like one line on a map. In practice it splits into 8–12 handoffs across two customs regimes, three transport modes, and at least one last-mile that Google Maps under-estimates by half. The three traps below are the ones that catch first-time buyers. "中国工厂 → 暹粒酒店"在地图上是一条线。现实里,这条线被切成 8~12 次交接,跨越两个海关体制、三种运输方式,加上一段被 Google Maps 低估一半时间的末端公里。下面这三个坑,是第一次发货的买家最容易踩的。

Goods can enter Cambodia by sea (Sihanoukville Port) or by land (via Vietnam — Bavet/Moc Bai crossing, or via Thailand — Poipet). Same shipment can cost 30% less or take 8 days longer depending on which one is chosen — and the "obvious" answer is wrong about half the time. Volume, season, destination city, and the goods' HS code all swing the decision. The headline freight quote rarely includes: (a) wrong HS code → reclassification fees + delay; (b) wooden packaging without ISPM-15 fumigation → quarantine refusal; (c) VGM weight declaration mismatch → terminal fines; (d) origin-port congestion surcharge during peak. Each is small ($50–$400) but compounding. A buyer who got a "$3,200 to Sihanoukville" quote can end up paying $3,900–$4,500 if the export prep was sloppy. 承运商首次报价里通常不包含:(a) HS code 错填 → 改单费 + 延误;(b) 木质包装没做 ISPM-15 薰蒸 → 到港被拒;(c) VGM(核实总重)申报偏差 → 港口罚款;(d) 旺季原港拥堵附加费。每一项不大($50~$400),但会叠加。一个看到"$3,200 到西港"报价的买家,如果出口端没做好,最后掏到 $3,900~$4,500 都正常。

Sihanoukville Port to Siem Reap is 470 km — Google says 7 hours. In a container truck with seasonal road conditions, it is 9–12 hours, and trucks that fit the container don't fit a boutique hotel's narrow entry road. The real last-mile usually means: trunk truck → cross-dock in Phnom Penh → smaller truck → manual unloading. Hotels that planned for "1-day delivery from port" find themselves with the container parked at the warehouse 3 days later, waiting for a smaller vehicle. 西港到暹粒 470 公里,Google 说 7 小时。现实里,集装箱卡车 + 季节性路况,要 9~12 小时;能装柜的卡车进不了精品酒店的窄门口。真实的末端往往是:干线卡车 → 金边中转分拣 → 小车 → 人工卸货。原本以为"到港后 1 天就能进货"的酒店,常常发现集装箱在 3 天后还停在仓库里等小车。
